Useful Tips
Here are a few useful tips and best practices to get the best out of your Wonder Studio experience!
Have Actors wear suitable clothing. Tight-fitting, bright and colorful clothing will help achieve the best possible MoCap results.
Avoid Actors being occluded with foreground objects.
Avoid direct Actor interactions with objects and other Actors.
For cases where Actors are not clearly visible (a lot of motion blur, actors are back facing, difficult lighting, etc.) actors may not be detected properly. In such cases you can scan for actors and assign the actor again.
Shoot wider, then crop in. Extreme close-ups, where only a small part of the body is visible, can be difficult to solve accurately. Aim to have as many body elements as possible visible in a shot. Here are the body elements in order of importance:
Head
Legs
His and Torso
Arms
In general, the more of the actor that is visible, the more information there is about the actor's pose, and the better the pose will be.
