Introducing project starring - Mark your favorites for streamlined project organization. You can use the filtering option to display only your starred projects, ensuring a clutter-free workspace.
Fixes and Improvements
We have improved the video upload flow to reduce the number of projects ending up in the “File Not Found” error status.
The first project processing status is now “Uploading source video”, applied in cases when video uploading to the cloud is being done in the background, but the project had already been sent to processing.
The project sorting system has been improved to take into account only relevant user actions for changing the project pool order.
Long project and asset names can now be displayed while hovering over a name.
Asset and project names have a limit of 100 characters.

Character Validation
Multiple armatures/skeletons with “BODY” tags will now be counted correctly. Download the latest Blender add-on to get this improvement.
In Blender, Image Texture nodes with Generated textures will no longer break validation.

Enhanced Maya animation workflow - Swapping the proxy character created by Wonder Studio with the source character, or loading FBX data onto the source character, won’t break the character.
A new character is joining the Wonder Studio character crew - Maria.
You can now use Apple Pay and Google Pay as subscription payment methods.
Fixes and Improvements
Improved character validation - available via new add-on versions.
Texture assignment is improved, textures will now correctly match their materials in rare cases where texture naming is too similar.
Transparency textures are now supported for Maya characters.
Emission materials now work as intended for Maya characters.
Bind pose issues are flagged and fixed (if possible) for Maya characters.
Unsupported nodes are flagged for Maya characters.
USD incompatible naming is flagged for Maya characters.
Face blendshapes will no longer stay in the scene for Maya characters.
Unreal Scene improvements:
Characters are instanced making the scenes lighter.
Main Level is now used for shot assembly making it easier to rearrange shots in the sequencer. Tracked cameras now have their own sequences.
Procedural Character Control Rig is generated for characters that have all required bones mapped. It can later be used to correct animations in shots directly in Unreal.
OCIO profile is changed from Linear to sRGB.
Vertical resolutions will now properly show in Maya and USD scenes.
In shots where camera motion is detected and processed, the character/s and the camera will be aligned with the ground plane.
In the list view on “My Assets”, introduced an icon for video files that failed to upload.
Improved the visibility of scheduled subscription plan changes in User Settings in “Payment Details”.

Fixes and Improvements
Fixed a bug in the AI MoCap project type related to camera parenting.
Facial capture technology has been enhanced to improve the results of face estimation in low-resolution and low-quality input video segments.
Updated the informational text in User Settings to highlight transferring to the Preview Plan upon cancellation.

Export Unreal Engine Scene in Live Action projects to get each shot in a separate-level folder containing character animation data stored in subsequences, robust USD character material instances, instanced skeletal meshes with animation sequences and physics assets, downsampled environment and character textures, and the level instance of the shot. Apart from that, you will also get dynamic streaming levels for each shot and cameras, level visibility, and subsequences. Learn more here.

In Live Action projects, you can automatically match the movement of a virtual camera in 3D space with that of a real camera used in live-action scenes, integrating character motion into the world space. In addition to scenes exported with an estimated camera, camera tracking will be included in the AI MoCap export element. Furthermore, a separate camera FBX file will be provided for versatility and easy integration into your existing workflow. Learn more here.

Maya Scene export is live in Wonder Studio, providing extensive possibilities within Maya's toolkit. Users can effortlessly modify Wonder Studio content using Maya's tools, blend diverse assets, manage characters with preserved animations, and optimize characters for efficiency. The Maya Scene includes pre-arranged render layers and a pre-configured Camera Sequencer. The export process ensures a lighter scene with simplified character rigs and shaders. Learn more here.
Fixes and Improvements
Users now have a failed renewal payment notification and a manual retry payment option for non-3DS failed renewal payments.
Improved the loading performance when there are many projects in “My Projects”.
Fixed a bug where the clean plate export ignored the option for removing the letterbox.

Users can effortlessly edit scene components, such as animation and lighting, through USD's layered organization, adapt the data to their pipeline, use Hydra for cross-render-engine transitioning, and benefit from portability and easy sharing with relative references. Character validation has been substantially improved with the introduction of the validation add-ons for Maya and Blender. Add-ons offer a quick and easy way to check your character’s compatibility with Wonder Studio locally. At the same time, requirements have been reduced (especially naming requirements) while the functionality for characters developed in Maya has been greatly expanded. See documentation.

You can now export markerless body and hand-tracking data from any video, using the standalone AI Motion Capture feature. Apply the 3D animation data back to your character or retarget it to any other character. See documentation.
With the launch of this new project type, users can now choose which project type they want to spend their render time on. As the render cost of different projects is not the same, credits are introduced and are transferrable to render seconds. See documentation.
Fixes and Improvements
Projects with processing errors now have a preview window displaying the project ID and error details.
