Video Upload

Estimated reading: 2 minutes

To get started with your project, you first need to upload your video to Wonder Studio. Your video can be composed of multiple shots. Wonder Studio will automatically identify cuts and separately process different shots, while at the same time automatically matching the same actors across shots.

Please visit the Platform Limitations page for information on allowed formats, video length, number of shots in your video, etc.

You can upload your video in one of the following ways:

Upload videos from the dashboard

If you are on the dashboard, you can upload a video in the following way:

  1. Click on “My Assets”.
  2. Click on “Upload” in the top-right corner.
  3. In the drop-down menu, click on “Upload Video”.
Upload videos from a project

If you are already in a project, you can upload a video in the following way:

  • Drag and drop your videos directly into the “Upload Videos” area.
  • Click on the “click here to browse files” link to browse and select your video.

When the video is uploaded it will appear in the “Upload Videos” panel on the left-hand side.

If you have used that same video in any of the previous projects, you do not have to re-upload it. You can simply find it under “My Assets” and select it from there. You can access “My Assets” by clicking on the “My Assets” toggle at the bottom of the “Upload Videos” frame.

Note that for large videos and/or slow connection speed, it might happen that the video appears under Uploaded Videos but that the upload process has not yet been completed. For that reason, even though Wonder Studio is processing your video in the cloud and you can exit your browser once you start processing, it is important that you do not close your browser immediately in case the video upload is slow.
