The next step will be to start the project processing after choosing the desired render settings Resolution, format, etc. of the final video. and export elementsIndividual VFX elements such as motion capture, clean plate, etc….

Depending on the project type selected, different render/export options may appear.

Output Video Settings

Export Preview Video

This option is available in some project types.

Enable rendering of a final preview video after assembling the scene.

Resolution

Choose the output resolution of your project.

Resolution options might be locked for the following reasons:

The input video is of lower resolution – For example, if the input video is 1080p you cannot choose the 4K option.
Tier locked – You need a higher subscription tier to unlock some resolutions.

Format

Choose the output format of your final project rendered.

Neural Layer

Neural layer Wonder Tool – Neural Layer Built on Flow Studio output and Flow Studio 3D generated characters, Neural Layer uses an advanced video-to-video AI model to elevate shots from a first pass to a more refined result.

It enhances visual realism with richer materials, cleaner surface detail, more responsive lighting, and improved blending and clean plates for smoother compositing.

Neural Layer also adds facial performance to bring characters to life, creating a more compelling on-screen presence with minimal extra work.

Limitations and Best Practices Neural Layer performs best with:

Good Flow Studio results
Consistent framing and character orientation
High-quality character input images
4K source videos

For optimal results, avoid:

Occlusions
Interaction with props or other characters
Fast character or camera motion

Tips for using Face Neural Layer:

Face performance works best for humanoid characters.
Robots and non-humanoid characters may produce weaker or less reliable face performance.

Export 3D Scene

Export 3D Scenes are fully assembled 3D files ready for you to take matters into your own hands and start editing lighting, camera tracking, character animation, and more.

Export Individual Elements

Export elements are a robust set of options that allow you to download your VFX elements and passes separately. These elements will enable you to continue working on your VFX shot in any software you choose.

Please ensure that you have enabled all desired export elements before starting the processing, as they will not be accessible afterward.

Output Format

This option is available in some project types.

Choose the export format for your MoCap data.

FBX – Only retargeted bones will be baked and delivered.
USD – All bones will be baked and delivered.

Start Processing

Once you click the “Start Processing” button, your video with the selected settings will start processing in the cloud.

If your video is large and you quickly complete the actor selection process on Autodesk Flow Studio, the video may still be uploading when you click "Start processing." If you close your browser too soon, the video won't be processed. To avoid this, keep the browser open until the upload is complete.
