Scale Character

This option scales the selected CG character to match the size of the person/actor the character is replacing.

Feet IK

Enabling the Feet Inverse Kinematics option ensures that the character’s feet align with the position of the actor’s feet. This feature is beneficial when there are slight differences in proportions between the character and the actor, and when the shot necessitates precise foot placement of the character.

Note that Feet IK can cause legs to be unnaturally stretched if the difference in limb length between the actor and the character is too large.

Wrists IK

Enabling the Wrists Inverse Kinematics option ensures that the character’s wrists align with the position of the actor’s wrists. This feature is beneficial when there are slight differences in proportions between the character and the actor, and when the shot necessitates precise wrist placement of the character.

Note that Wrist IK can cause arms to be unnaturally stretched if the difference in limb length between the actor and the character is too large.

Pelvis Offset

Pelvis Offset allows you to place your character better in your shot by moving the entire character. This option affects only the Hips bone as this bone is responsible for translating the character.

No Offset

When you choose this mode, the character’s pelvis (hips) will align with the actor’s pelvis (hips) location. This is suitable when the character and the actor have nearly identical pelvis heights, but in most cases, the To Feet option is recommended for better results.

To Feet

This mode is used in the Live Action Easy project type.

This mode moves the character to align its feet with the actor’s feet. While generally a good option, it may yield poor results when a significant portion of the body is not visible.

To Neck

This mode is particularly helpful when most of the body is not visible. It moves the character to align the character’s neck with the actor’s neck.
